In today’s episode Katie chats with friend and cast-mate Charli Burnett. Charli fills Katie in on the bikini body building competition she recently took part in, the bunion surgery that led her there, and what goes into prepping for a competition. We find out what she had to eat in a day, how to spice your meals up when eating the same thing again and again, and how difficult it was not to be able to drink through it all.  The ladies dig into trauma around food, disordered eating, and just how different that can look for different people. Katie asks Charli about the infamous pasta makes you fat comment, why she said it, and the aftermath of the situation. Charli explains her thinking that if you don’t share everything about you, then you’re protecting yourself. She found out that when you open up about who you really are, even if only one person can connect with that and are left feeling less alone, it’s worth it.
