After the November 2020 National election across this country, states such as Oregon passed new law legalizing all drugs. Others have legalized Ketamine, Washington DC Voters Approve Psychedelics Decriminalization. Other States since then have no proposed or are drafting bills to legalize these substances in their states as well, just yesterday California is now wanting to legalize Pislocybin Mushrooms! All of these bills are being presented by Senortors or in some cases congressmen with little knowledge of this to the public. Do your Clients Know about this information? How willl this effect the drug free-workplace? 

In this episode we address this and how we have found to approach clients and others to help them understand and recognize that these substances are being pushed to legalize. How do we share this information and ensure employers voices on this subject are heard?

In this episode, we talk about a recent court ruling in New Mexico where it was determined that individuals on house arrest, probation, or parole are entitled to Medical Marijuana and the use of it . This is an interesting verdict and could ignite other lawsuits in different states in an attempt to allow individuals on probation, parole, house arrest or even in prison to have accesses to medical Marijuana.

Intelligent Fingerprinting Drug Screening System checks for potential evidence of recent drug misuse by screening for specific drugs or their metabolites in sweat collected from fingerprints. Paul has over 17 years’ experience working within the United Kingdom Criminal Justice System in the area of forensics. He was initially trained and worked as an expert witness for the Metropolitan Police forensic science laboratory in London, and then worked as the Key Customer Account Manager for the UK Government Forensic Science Service laboratory in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire. Paul’s work at the Forensic Science Service included development of forensic services to tackle major crimes and sexual assault, and was recognised in 2009 through the presentation of The High Sheriff of Cambridgeshire’s Award for Excellence in Forensic Science.

Prior to joining the Metropolitan Police forensic science laboratory, Paul worked as a Research Scientist for the European Space Agency in Noordwijk, Holland. Paul has a BSc Degree in Earth Science and is a PhD in Space Science. He joined Intelligent Fingerprinting in May 2011 and is responsible for overseeing the company's sales and marketing activities.
