Remember all the things you went through in 2022? Now, consider how those things can be used for YOUR GOOD in 2023.  

The wisdom gained, lessons learned, and even success you were able to achieve. Trust and believe the year was not a waste at all.  

We know you might want to rush into this year but do so with caution. Come into the new year not with baggage but all you acquired from the previous year.  Let’s get it fellas. Happy New Year!

C.T.H. got a chance to attend Vernon & Vontae’s 1st Annual Turkey Giveaway in D.C.  Dope event where they gave away 1000 turkeys. 

Musical performances by Vernon Davis & Malik Dope were some of the entertainment. Demont Pinder had his artistic gifts on display as well.

November is National Men's Health Awareness Month! Let’s talk about our physical health for a second. D did just that in this podcast episode where he takes us through his healthy lifestyle change that made a positive impact on his overall health. He explores dieting (or eating clean) and exercising. These are two ways we can improve our health.  

The Thanksgiving holiday is right around the corner as well. While we encourage you to enjoy time with family, we always want to be aware of your health.  

October is the month of homecoming. Last year we went back to our alma mater, James Madison University, for homecoming. This year we stopped by Howard University's Homecoming.   

We got a chance to speak with NFL Hall of Famer Edgerrin James, some freshmen, and a young lady and her family who are considering which HBCU she will attend.   

In comparison to a PWI (Predominately White Institution), it was interesting to hear the difference & similarities presented by the students of an HBCU.   

What do you think is special about homecoming at an HBCU?  Did you go back to your school this year for homecoming (PWI or HBCU)?  What do you enjoy most about going back to your alma mater?  Have you helped anybody select their college?
