Knowing they had just an hour to record a tape and get it to the pizza parlor for a chance at the Indiana Fair music job, Haas urged the band to step it up. Clutching his drumsticks, he tapped out a rhythm, and the band prepared to play "Gimme Some Love."

Greeted by the bank manager, Mr. Hashing, Diamond requested access to his vault. The manager and his assistant led him down a hidden staircase to a grand, secure chamber. There, they unlocked the imposing gate and vault door, revealing rows of metal drawers holding the bank's most valuable possessions.
