This is the first episode in a series of six which covers the life of the Egyptian Queen Cleopatra.  I briefly discuss Alexander the Great's expeditions to Egypt on his unceasing quest to become 'King of Asia.'  Once the Ptolemaic dynasty's place in Egyptian history is established, the podcast turns to the childhood of the woman who would become perhaps the greatest Queen in Egyptian history.  Lastly, the episode reveals to the audience how she ended up being named co-regent upon her father's passing.
