The Season 2 finale of The Last of Us just dropped—and we have a lot to unpack.

We talk about how this moment hit differently in the show vs. the game, how Jesse’s character shift added new tension, and whether Ellie’s choices this season pushed her past the point of no return. And yes—Jerica is still not over the fact that Shimmer survived.

Plus, we’ll share how we felt watching that final “Seattle Day One” moment, and what it means now that Abby’s side of the story is about to begin.

This week on ClickerBait, we’re diving into #thelastofus Season 2  Episode 6 — and it’s a tricky one for us gamers.

From birthday cakes to moth tattoos, “The Price” takes us on a deeply emotional journey through Joel and Ellie’s relationship, told entirely through flashbacks leading up to that porch scene. We’re breaking down every birthday milestone.

We also dig into the show’s biggest original addition: Eugene’s tragic death and how it shatters what little trust Ellie had left. And yes—we talk about how Joel doesn't know Ellie likes girls.
As gamers who’ve played the original story, we bring that extra layer of context—comparing how the show stacks up to the games, what hit harder, and what this episode sets up for the finale.

ClickerBait is a live podcast every Monday night at twitch.tv/jkgamespodcast where we recap and react to HBO’s The Last of Us—through the eyes of people played the video games.
