On this episode of Cut to the Chase:, Luke Russell from Russell Media comes on to discuss his marketing firm and how they differ from the other marketers, some of whom use rather questionable practices. I have known for several years and use Luke for marketing and know that he is savvy and truthworthy. Many lawyers cringe when hearing about marketing and many lawyers are cringing even more as they are not marketing and see their caseloads dwindle. Marketing is not just billboards, bus benches, and tv ads....just listen to Luke tell you a bit of how Russell Media markets. To talk with him to see what he can do for your mass tort portfolio or your single incident cases (trucking, motorcycle, etc), here is his contact info. https://russellmedia.us/about-russell-media/luke-russell/
Luke's talents don't end at the marketing world. He also has his own podcast, Lawful Good Podcast, featuring lawyers and their stories both inside and outside of the world of trials. Fascinating and fun-check it out. https://lawfulgoodpodcast.com/

On this episode of Cut to the Chase:, Mike Burn returns to update us on the last bellwether trial against 3M for it's defective earplug. This trial resulted in a $77 Million Verdict, including $72 million for punitive damages against 3M. Now that the 19 bellwether trials have gone forward, Judge Rogers has met with the leadership for the 240,000 Plaintiffs that are part of the largest mass tort ever to discuss what she plans on doing with the remaining cases. The Judge will also be meeting with leadership for the defendants-3M to discuss the same. Looming out there are some appeals on some of the prior verdicts. Listen in to Mike explain what this all means and how the government contractor defense is the main legal issue in the appeals.
And remember, it is not too late to join this litigation. Here is how you get in touch with Mike. https://www.linkedin.com/in/mike-burns-32211146/. Don't wait as there is a deadline to file your claim.

On this episode of Cut to the Chase:, Christos Lagos comes on to sit side by side me in front of the Miami Dade County Courthouse to discuss some of today's big issues-bankruptcy in mass tort litigation and crumbling infrastructure.
I keep getting questions from the audience about whether Fortune 500 companies that make dangerously defective products that are killing or maiming tens of thousands of us are going to use the bankruptcy process (like Johnson & Johnson is doing with it's talcum powder pending litigation) to try and undermine the Constitutional right to a jury trial and get off for pennies on the dollars.
The answer might depend on several factors. Christos, who was selected by the biggest legal names in South Florida to be the lead attorney on the F.I.U. bridge collapse litigation, discusses how bankruptcy was used in that litigation in a positive way.
Additionally, Christos and I discuss another looming problem faced globally and here in the United States-crumbling infrastructure. According to reliable sources 1/3 of our country's bridges are deficient. The condo collapse in Surfside and the Miami Dade County Courthouse's structural problems are becoming just another major issue that we are faced with these days.
If you are injured due to defective construction or infrastructure, hell if you are or a loved one are victimized by a catastrophic injury, give Christos a call. Or if you a lawyer handling a complicated case that you need some assistance on with an attorney that will comprehensively put the case together AND take it through trial....here is the link to his law firm to connect with him. https://www.christoslagos.com/
And here is a link to some information on just how bad our infrastructure is in the United States. https://www.christoslagos.com/

William has been battling vs. the tobacco companies for decades and has won every trial he has had with them. On this episode of Cut to the Chase:, Kimberly Adams updates us on 2 legal cases that she is pursuing as lead counsel to combat the sex trafficking industry and Pornhub for child pornography abuse on its platform. Both cases involve Section 230. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Section_230
Kimberly is a crusader as Section 230 is relatively knew and still lacking the well settled legal nature that many negligence and tort cases have achieved over the years. Listen to this episode so you can hear why Kimberly is just the right lawyer to lead the way.
In this episode of Cut to the Chase:, one of the lead trial lawyers on the 3M earplug combat litigation goes into detail showing how the earplug is defective.
