Welcome to Season 2, in which Clinical Pearls for Graduate Physios is collaborating with Learn.Physio on some exciting topics from their Masterclass and Practical series!
Today I got the opportunity to speak to Jan Hartvigsen, a Danish chiropractor, physio and internationally leading researcher. Jan has a particular interest in low back pain and was deputy-chair of the landmark Lancet Low Back Pain Series that was published in The Lancet in 2018. He has authored more than 260 international peer-reviewed publications and published papers in The Lancet and British Medical Journal.
We speak about where to start with treatment for persistent low back pain, the role of psyschosocial factors, how to approach patient education and much more. It was an incredible chat and i learnt so much fro Jan.
Jan features in the 'Low Back Pain Masterclass' for Learn.Physio. I hope you enjoy!
