Positive Feedback is just as important as negative feedback. In the clinical research corporate world, things can get very hectic and managers can often forget to give positive feedback to their team. When a manger only provides negative feedback it can be demoralizing and mess with the psychology of the team. I prefer a manager that gives tons of positive feedback and even directs your working behavior using positive feedback. For many of you who have not worked in a clinical research environment before it is very sporadic. There are some months where you feel like you are barely able to survive with the work demands and other months where you can do lots of errands during the work day and still seems like there is no work to do. The clinical research workflow is much like a river flow. There are rapids and fast moving waters, but also slow and steady moving waters. Thats why its important to just go with the flow and enjoy both the hard and the easy times.
