With the exponential acceleration of technology and the accessibility of it her in the USA. Some companies are going all in on remote work. While the article I read isn't specific to clinical research, I do see that trend poised to take the clinical research world by storm. Clinical Research already is an industry which has somewhat embraced a remote work force so could this be the tipping point?

Do not fall for the gimmick, Clinical Research companies are starting to offer unlimited vacation time trying to be 'cool' and 'hip'. This is a gimmick and is in fact does not have the intended effect. Companies may be offering this policy trying to make it look like you can take as much vacation as you want but that is in fact not what actually happens. Employees end up taking way less vacation than they were before because there are no rules as to how much you can actually take. Listen as we break it down further.

This was a viewer submitted question on what kind of questions are asked during a clinical research interview. For positions like study coordinator, clinical trial assistant, project coordinator, project management assistant the questions are going to be less job specific than you might think. They can teach you how to do the job so they care less about how much you know about it. They care more about how you are going to act in certain situations.

This is a small hack that can be used to improve conference call stamina and effectiveness. In the corporate world we are constantly inundated with meeting after meeting and call after call. Are all these meetings necessary? Are all these meetings effective? How can we conduct a better meeting, so that only what is necessary is being discussed and only having meetings when necessary, not everyday just because thats how it has always been.

Note to Files (NTF) are used in clinical research frequently to explain a missing document or to explain in more detail a situation. Study coordinators write them, CRA's write them, Project Managers write them many individuals in clinical research can write and do utilize NTF's. For example Syneos Health (formerly INC research) calls this position Project Specialist, IQVIA calls it a Project management assistant.
