Daniel sees a vision of kingdoms rising in violence and arrogance, leaving him shaken and alarmed. But just when fear seems overwhelming, Daniel sees a vision of a God clothed in white and seated on a throne with wheels of fire! This vision of God reminds us that while evil may appear powerful for a time, it is never ultimate. God’s judgment is pure, uncorrupted, and already in motion.
