My longtime BFF Caitlin calls in to Cloud Land from France, and I ask her all about her creative projects. She’s into bullet journaling, making notebooks, sewing her own clothes (and bags, household items and quilts!), lettering, font making, and a bunch of other cool stuff. And she shares it all in public on Sunshine & Stationery! 

I love seeing the videos she makes, and I’m not the only one who is into it - her YouTube videos have had over 3 million (!!!) views, and tens of thousands of people are following along there and on Instagram. I ask her about what she’s learned, how she decides what to pursue next, the weird pressures that have come up as a hobby has gotten a bigger audience and how she's been thinking about it. Plus, our “art angst”, notebook obsessions, and how she is brave enough to work so much in public.

Hi, welcome to Cloudland, a project and podcast from Amelia Greenhall. This is the first episode, and I’m going to talk about the PCT - the Pacific Crest Trail.

Adam and I live in Seattle, and in less than two weeks, we are heading to southern California, to the start of this long trail, which begins at border with Mexico. And then we’re going to walk over 2,500 miles back home to Washington state, and all the way to Canada. If all goes well, that’s going to take us five or six months, through a lot of beautiful, high mountains and forests and desert. And I have a lot of thoughts and angst and excitement over finally getting to try at a long time dream/goal.
