Daniels' vision opened up the way of God's purposes for centuries to come until the end of the Jewish nation, as a nation institution. It spanned some 500 years. It revealed the stability of that one eternal kingdom ushered in by the Messiah.

The apostle Paul was called on to speak of the Saviour on Mar's Hill. The effect of that sermon has lifted Christianity into first place in the world. Souls were immediately converted including Dionysius, who was probably one of the nine judges of the court.

Daniel was threatened by the King's decress to cease from prayer to His Lord and God, but without blinking an eye he went to his house, opened the window toward Jerusalem and knelt to pray.
