God's Love is behind the cross-work of the Lord Jesus. Our Saviour was doing the Father's will when he voluntarily offered up Himself as a sacrifice for sin. Here in Romans chapter 5, we have the apostle Paul's logic on the love of God for helpless and hopeless sinners.

Children are God's blessing but they also come with great reponsibilities. They are not as animals with mere instincts. They have eternal souls and need to have the knowledge of the Lord.

To be a wife is to answer the call to be joined to one man for the rest of her life. She has much to give up - her station in life, her family, her name, her reputation and to find all these things in the man whom she will marry. Leaving and cleaving is different for a wife than for a man.To leave your father and mother and be joined to a husband requires - great caution. So, be sure the man you marry is the right man for you.

The believer's assurance of salvation is much more than academic reasoning. It is the seal of the Spirit pouring the life of God into our souls.

The blessing of marriage lies in the husband doing one thing - love his wife.

It is obvious that some people may enter into marriage too quickly and thus are not prepared for all the changes that marriage will bring.--It is no light thing for two people to cease all other attachments, pledge a--lifelong covenant of love faithfulness and loyalty to each other and live under the same roof.--Be not deceived by the movie world, which gives the impression that the story ends at the wedding ceremony and the couple live happily ever after.--Today 50- of marriages end up in separation or divorce. The stats among evangelical Christians are not much better.--Then there are marriages which are miserable but people choose to stay together.--Socrates' marital difficulties are well known. Out of them he coined the sage advice- -By all means marry, If you get a good wife, you will become very happy- if you get a bad one you will become a philosopher - and that is good for every man.-

We doubt the person who never doubts. Personal salvation is just that the saving of the person. It is not a theory, but a work accomplished by the almighty Saviour who cannot fail.
