Respectfully, the status quo is challenged with a lack of awareness due to the consumer not knowing the difference of what constitutes quality flower at a top shelf experience. There is ignorance at this immature state of the industry because the consumer is unaware of when a recognizable brand decides to package up a less than perfect run. Tyreece and Alex were able to visit Joe's indoor cultivation operation based in Downtown Los Angeles prior to this episode being recorded. Joe is a top tier cultivator who has the ability to drive the genetic potential through his high level of understanding using data analytics (crop steering) using the Aroya cultivation software + Teros 12 sensor by Meter Group. The curation passion project, SMLZ by CLTVTD, is our ability to showcase the genetics that were grown by cultivation partners in a co-branded supply chain awareness effort for the consumer to know where that flower came from. The goal is to showcase quality flower in small bud form at an affordable 1/2 oz price which came from a quality batch recognized by both the cultivator and nursery.
