Here's some things to look for in your own game or your friends game that indicate It's The Clubs...

1. Size up the person, age, height, strength, athletic ability
2. Size up the clubs, do they match the observations of the person using them
3. Ask questions, what is the weakest area of the bag, strongest, check those clubs out.
4. How good of a putter are you.  Watch them line up a putt and watch the take away.
5. Signs that a club is too light or heavy
6. What do golfers tend to do when they have to little loft to get the ball up in the air.
7. What do golfers tend to do if the clubs are too long.  Just because I'm over 6 ft doesn't mean they need to all be longer.

Remember the legal limits have been reached with drivers/fairway woods/ Hybrids and Irons.  Making them lower lofted and longer isn't the answer for most humans.

It doesn't need to cost $650 to make a driver!

In today's episode, we're getting back in touch with Doug. 
Back in 2023 Doug contacted us with a question.  That eventually turned into building a set of irons and we talked with him on the podcast in March of 24.   We are seeing what he has learned about what he needs to play his best golf.  We played golf together for the first time this past summer.  

If you have been a long time listener we fit Doug with a set of irons by watching some video of his swing.  Asking him a bazillion questions, and sending him some demo clubs to try.  We added a driver and replaced a wedge this summer.  Merry Christmas, see you in 2026.
