Connor, Dan, and Evan partake in a 5-round MLB trade deadline prediction draft special in Episode 68. Before the draft, the boys reviewed our weekly MLB power rankings! Everybody had a different team at #1 sparking some good conversation. As for the draft, Connor led it off with the Los Angeles Dodgers making a big splash for Reds SP Luis Castillo. The rules of the draft made it so Dan and Evan could not use Luis Castillo in one of their moves. He is considered off the board. Colin, Evan, and Dan discuss all things Major League Baseball in Episode 67 as we hit the All-Star break. The boys begin the episode running through our updated full 30 team rankings. Dan was able to compare those rankings to our preseason ones and there are certainly some surprises headlined by the Orioles and Yankees big jump. Next, the guys each give one surprise and one disappointment thus far and explain their reasoning for their decision. The episode rolls on with everybody including Newman who was absent today giving updated MLB award predictions. In Episode 66 of Clubhouse Convos, Connor and Evan preview the NHL Free Agent Frenzy. The boys start by giving their takes on the Forsberg extension in NSH, the Rakell extension in PIT, the Boeser extension in VAN, the Fiala sign-and-trade with LA, and lastly the Georgiev sign-and-trade with Colorado. Next, the two give FA predictions for the top two players at each position across the league which includes Nazem Kadri, Claude Giroux, Darcy Kuemper, and more. Finally, the pair give contract predictions for Evgeni Malkin, Ilya Samsonov, Paul Stastny, and Ondrej Palat.
