On this week's episode of the podcast, the boys welcomed friend of the pod Jason Ward back on to talk some MLB. We discussed the Red Sox off-season moves prior to the lockout, getting Jason's thoughts on the Renfroe deal. We also gave our updated predictions for some of the top remaining MLB free agents and where we see them signing post lockout. On this week's podcast, the boys recapped all of the major MLB Free Agent signings that were finalized before the MLB lockout began early Thursday morning. We talked about the Rangers' outlook after they've spent upwards of 500 million thus far, as well as what the Mets may be able to accomplish next year with the additions of Max Scherzer and Starlin Marte. Next, we discussed the NBA, specifically the Celtics' struggles, as well as who may emerge as a contender out of the high congested Western Conference. Our hockey talk included some discussion about guys having fantastic seasons that nobody was expecting, as well as if the Colorado Avalanche and Vegas Golden Knights need to be concerned roughly a fourth of the way through the year. Lastly, the Lineup Card consisted of questions about all four sports, and a very fun open-ended final question that saw Jayson Tatum, Lincoln Riley, and Brian Kelly be called out amongst others. The boys had a lot of fun on this episode of Clubhouse Convos. We started the pod talking about the recent MLB free-agent signings, including Steven Matz going to the Saint Louis Cardinals, and Wander Franco's massive extension in Tampa Bay. We revealed our third NBA Power Rankings, with the Warriors retaining their hold on number 1. We talked about some tanking NBA teams like the Pistons and Rockets, and also about the LeBron and Isiah Stewart mixup in the Pistons Lakers game a few nights ago. We moved onto the NHL Power Rankings where Carolina passed Florida for our top spot. We talked about some teams in the Pacific Division, as well as why the Metro is so good right now. Lastly, the pod ended with a Thanksgiving-themed lineup card that produced a ton of laughs, and a great rant from Evan. Thanks for tuning in and we hope you enjoy it!
