On Episode 28 of Clubhouse Convos, the boys continue to dive into the MLB playoff race, discussing the Red Sox outlook, some sleeper teams that are making noise, and players we felt have really let their team down this year. There was a little PGA talk for those golf fans about 15 minutes into this episode as well. Thanks for listening and we hope you enjoy it!
With not much going on in the sports world right now the boys decided to talk some Red Sox for the first twenty minutes of the pod. The remainder of the time we spent on the lineup card, with NFL MVP, OPOY, DPOY, COY and more award predictions. Thanks for listening and we hope you enjoy!
With not much going on in the sports world Episode 26 contained a very fun five-round draft of the best athletes of all four major sports, all of whom are under 25. After the draft concluded the boys talked a little Lineup Card, with a variation of topics ranging from the new Madden 22 to the MLB Wildcard race. This was a fun and short episode and we hope you guys enjoy it!
For this episode of Clubhouse Convos, it was just Colin, Evan, and Connor, who revisited some old MLB predictions from Episodes 6 and 7. There were plenty of cold takes, but also some pretty good one, including Evan predicting the Brewers to be a top 4 NL team, Newman predicting Fernando Tatis to be MVP, and Colin predicting a huge year from the Indian's Jose Rameriez. For the other half of the pod the boys created their ideal MLB fielder/hitter by drafting a player to represent each of the five tools: speed, throwing, fielding, contact, and power. This was a lot of fun and we hope you send in submissions of your ideal player! Thanks for listening and we hope you enjoy.
In episode 24 of Clubhouse Convos, the boys spent the first twenty or so minutes discussing NBA free agency, some deals we liked and did not like, and our thoughts on the Celtics this far. The next fifteen minutes were filled with a lively debate about the Red Sox, and their moves (or lack of moves) at the trade deadline, and their outlook for the rest of the year. The lineup card segment was focused on NFL predictions, including our predictions for league leaders in statistical categories, and some fantasy players we wish to avoid. The pod wrapped up with a rant and a little segment about our dislike for traffic. Thanks for listening, we hope you enjoy it!
In episode 23 the boys announce some huge news! First, Dan Hayes has joined the Clubhouse Convos team, and we are all excited to announce Dan will be a part of our new podcast, Clubhouse Convos: The Gridiron! In this episode, the four of us touch upon all four sports, including some NBA trade talk, NHL offseason beginning, the Packers drama, and MLB trade deadline! We hope you enjoy!
For Episode 22 the boys compiled our mock Seattle Kraken expansion drafts! We were all looking forward to this episode and had a ton of fun with it. Newman explains how everything works, so for those who are unfamiliar with how an expansion draft works, fear not! If you decide to make your own mock send it to us via DM! Thank you for listening and we hope you enjoy it!
For the second pod of the MLB All-Star festivities, the boys reflect on the first half of the season for all 30 teams. We discuss division leaders, losers, underachievers, and how we see the standings shaking out come October. A new segment called the Quiz, quickly renamed the Lineup Card, was debuted in this episode as well, and we finished up with some buy or sell. This pod is great for baseball lovers like us, we hope you enjoy it!
