This week we go back in time and watch Shakespeare solve the murder of who killed Kit Marlowe! Wait, no, I’ve got that all backwards — “Shakespeare and Hathaway” is a modern-day comedy mystery of an unlikely crime-solving duo that keeps Stratford-upon-Avon safe from criminals. I like my idea better. I want see Shakespeare solving crimes while tooling around Stratford in a Ferrari horse cart and delivering his inner PI monologue in iambic pentameter. 

We watched season 2, episode 9, “The Envious Court.” Knowledge of “As You Like It” not necessary, but fun! We streamed the episode on BritBox.

Wine, women, and murder! This week Cluedunnit watches "Women's Murder Club," the short-lived but totally great mystery procedural set in San Francisco just before the advent of the iPhone. When someone is murdered by getting run over by a vintage car, we get to guess who did it, and why -- as well as scrutinize the invention of modern dance, schoolgirl crushes on the BeeGees, and the correct way to reference Bay Area Rapid Transit.
