It's a legendary episode as I hang out with old friend and emerging Tik Tok personality, Katie Stuart, lately known as Bar Daddy! One of Richmond's most beloved bartenders, of course it was only right to have her whip up two different wine cocktails for the show. In between, we had a glass of recent award winning wine, Scott Kelley Oregon Pinot Noir! We discuss a variety of topics, including mental health, bar etiquette, her love for Demi Lovato (give her a follow Demi!) and crazy drinking stories. They may call her Bar Daddy but she'll always be KStu to me! It's a wild episode that's one for the ages!

We have some very fun wines, including Rod Easthorpe's Sauvignon Blanc and Kaleidoscope Red Wine Blend. But none more appropriate than Ugo Lestelle's VII as Cassie is the seventh guest AND we are both huge fans of Final Fantasy VII. Listen as we discuss the storied franchise as well as her journey to becoming a huge fan of Star Trek. On this week's episode, we have owner of the FoodiO enterprise, Jamie Grant! A lot of unique looking bottles dominate the show today (HXM LIEBFRAUMILCH Riesling, Murphy-Goode Cabernet Sauvignon, Francis Coppola Diamond Claret Cabernet Sauvignon) We discuss the creation of FoodiO and what she hopes to accomplish with the business, views on religion and faith and of course, #TallPeopleProblems. Just over 90 minutes is not nearly enough to tap in to all the knowledge Jamie has on food. She has an amazing mission statement built from an amazing story. I feel like I only scratched the surface of what she knows but if you're interested in learning more about food and how it can impact any and everyone, this is one episode you're not going to want to miss!

We're taking our glasses to California for this episode (Karen Birmingham's Pinot Grigio and 19 Crimes Cali Blend) as we discuss her journey to her doctorate, her overview of education and goal of impacting as many children as possible and her days as bruiser on the soccer field. On this week's episode, we have Head Coach of JR Tucker Boys Basketball, Adam Desgain.
Our glasses were filled with some variety this week (Iaconis Chardonnay, Casillero del Diablo, Iaconis Cabernet Sauvignon) as we talked about his new love of weight lifting and what he ultimately wants from his basketball program. We also have fun reminscing on a few moments we shared as members of the Randolph-Macon basketball team. A very fun episode for me because it's great to see how Adam's love of basketball has transformed into a coaching career at his alma mater!
