All work under the sun is utterly futile given man’s impotence, injustice and solitude and though there are minor consolations now, the ultimate consolation is Jesus Christ who spares us from the final judgment. 

Pleasure, wisdom, and work don’t satisfy when sought yet God gives enjoyment to those who are right with him through faith in Jesus Christ. 

Toiling for what you cannot keep is no true gain, so only in Christ is there labor that profits for eternity. 

We must accept our lot in this futile, fallen world, content to work and enjoy pleasures from our sovereign God while we anticipate his final judgment by fearing God and keeping his commands through faith in Jesus Christ. 

Real mission is the proclamation of the real gospel to all the nations until God's glorious image covers the earth like the waters cover the sea. 

Real worship flows from a vision of the greatness of God as revealed in His glorious work of redemption through Christ. 

The church of Jesus Christ, the real community, is a loving community, but because of the devil’s schemes which distort the gospel and divide the brethren, God has placed godly leaders over that community for its eternal well-being. 

Real community, that is real church, is first and foremost loving, but that doesn’t remove her from the schemes of the devil designed to divide, kill and destroy. 

Real faith produces real community which is structured, vulnerable and most of all, loving, such that all the world knows that we’re Christ’s followers.
