From performer to pastor, fame to faith, success to significance. Pastor Montell Jordan - yes - "This Is How We Do It!" club-hit chart-topper turned to teacher of Christ. Montell Jordan stepped inside the studio with his wife Kristin and got REAL with Ed Lover about everything from what led Montell to leave the secular music industry and chase God instead, to his marriage ministry and of course - staying faithful to the church, plus Montell and Ed go all the way down memory lane. A great episode - enjoy.

It could be happening right next door and you wouldn't even know. Your friendly neighbor who hosts the annual block party or the woman next door who always walks her dog at sunrise. We're talking about the average looking man or woman hosting sex trafficking rings. The state of Georgia has one of the highest rates of human trafficking and it's time we pull back the shade and shine light on this toxic trade that too often goes unnoticed.
Our guest this week is Toni Rivera, author of "Silent Screams on the Frontlines: Survival Guide and Information on Sex Trafficking and Molestation." Toni has taken her painful experiences of being molested in the sex and human trafficking arena, and turned them into fuel for her mission as New York’s one-woman army taking on the streets of New York as well as across the country, in an attempt to save the youth and inform the public and community on whats lurking in their backyards for our children.
Enjoy this week's episode of C'Mon Son! The Podcast featuring Toni Rivera.

Some younger generations would say Bookem Woodbine used to "scare them" when they were little. Maybe it was because of his strong on-screen appearance of the alcoholic brother we all wanted to win in 'Jason's Lyric...' who knows? We grew to love Bookem throughout the years however, especially with his little verbiage enticed role as 'Can't Get Right in the classic Eddie Murphy\Martin Lawrence blockbuster 'Life.'
Mr. Woodbine sits with Ed Lover and goes all the way back to his roots - from opening up about his relationship with Tupac, acting woes, worries and of course, his unwavering love for film even when we thought he went ghost for a while. Please enjoy our interview with veteran actor, Bokeem Woodbine.

Unless you've been living under a rock, the world has been shaken with #MeToo, #TimesUp and other movements promoting empowerment. We wanted to share life saving tips as well as get into some commentary from the national self-defense organization known as "Divas In Defense."
Started by two brothers who witnessed domestic violence first hand, 'Divas In Defense' have pledged to prevent violence against as many women and girls as possible.
Just this past December, D-I-D was invited to Kuwait by the country’s FIRST female olympian, medal-winning olympic fencer, Balsam Al-Ayoub. The company dispatched 2 trainers to Kuwait [one of them joins us on this episode] on a 20 day mission to teach Middle Eastern women and girls proper self-defense techniques and safety protocols.
Returning just before the new year, Divas in Defense is proud to say that over the 20 day period, they trained over 600 women for 32 nationalities.
Enjoy Ed Lover's conversation with D-I-D founder Cole Parker and Skye Walton, a black-belt self-defense trainer that went to Kuwait on behalf of Divas In Defense.

Some of the most influential shifts in hip-hop music originated in the south's entertainment mecca known as Atlanta, Georgia. From snap music, to the throbbing bass of Freak-Nik sounds, to hip flows from Outkast, Ludacris...up to more recent themes like trap and strip club sounds; the vibe of old and new Atlanta can now be felt in music that stretches across the country.
One person who sat front row during the weaving of Atlanta music's origins to where it is today: ATL's hip-hop historian famously known as DJ Nabs, the Mad DJ.
From touring with Kriss-Kross, Michael Jackson, Da Brat, Jermaine Dupri, to DJing at Ciara and Russell Wilson's wedding, to still honing his roller-skating skills at Cascade on Wednesday nights...Nabs' breath-taking DJ sets keep listeners and those who are fortunate enough to get close and watch him spin - in complete awe. This special episode needs no further introduction. Enjoy Ed Lover's conversation with DJ Nabs.
