NQC24 is in the books. Next to CNS this week is the highlight of my year.
It's great getting to visit with friends over the week and hear all the great
music. This year was extra special as on Tuesday, during the SGMA Hall of
Fame Induction Ceremony, our own Jeff Stice was inducted into the SGMA
Hall of Fame.

Jeff Stice was on the staff of the Charles Novell School of Music for 40 years. He was a big part of the CNS family, and the Novell family. Jeff gets inducted into the SGMA Hall of Fame on Tuesday September 24, 2024. Durning CNS24 we honored Jeff each day of the school. Each memeber of our piano staff played a Jeff arrangement during an evening concert and on Friday we spent some time reflecting on Jeff in a live session in front of our students. Today's episode comes from that live session. Jeff was loved and he is missed.

We all have situations that don't go quite like we had envisioned
them going, or don't quite go as planned. In these situations we
can either allow the enemy to discourage us to the sidelines or we
can choose to adjust and advance to what God has intended for our
lives, music, and ministries. This thought brings us to the topic of
communication and we see just how vital and important that word can be to life's outcomes.
