It's 2024... a new year!!  I've heard "More in 24", "No More in 24", but I've latched onto "New Doors in 24".  Let's start doing new things in our music and ministry in 2024.  Today's episode is a basic approach to Piano Improvisation that can get you doing just that...  more creativity in your playing in 24.

Happy New Year!!  It's January and with that comes our time of year to set those resolutions and goals for the upcoming year.  Over half of people's resolutions and goals are broken and put aside by mid January.   This often happens from our thought process towards these goals.  Using the SMART model I believe we can make our goals that we set more achievable and obtainable for 2024.  It's time to make it to those goals in our lives, our music, and our ministries.

We all have found ourselves sitting, waiting, on God to open a door in our lives, our music, or our ministry.  Has our effort in the meantime done enough to cause Him

Our thoughts can control who we are, how we respond to situations, and how we react to life on a daily basis.  There is a big difference between positive and negative thinking.
Being aware of the traits that lead to thinking negatively can help lead us to more positive thinking. Unless you take control of your thoughts, your thoughts will take control of you.

Happy Thanksgiving.  There's so much to be thankful for this season.  Getting ready for Thanksgiving Day has had me reflecting on things I'm thankful for.  One of those blessings in my life is the Staff at the Charles Novell School of Music.  God has surrounded us with gifted, anointed, called, and like minded individuals to move the ministry of CNS forward towards where God needs us to go.  Today's episode honors them and reflects on a few of those individuals.
