This week, we were joined by Indiana St. Assistant Coach and the founder of pickandpop.net, Zak Boisvert. Coach Boisvert talked with us about his time as a manager, the importance of film, photoshop and convincing people you are ready to coach. He gave us great advice throughout the episode, none may have better than: "Don't worry about money your first seven years of coaching" and "Never turn down a basketball opportunity". This week, we are joined by University of Denver's new head coach, Jeff Wulbrun. Coach Wulbrun comes to us with experience at both the high school and Division I collegiate level. He talks about getting out of coaching, advice he received as a young coach, camps, good fits, and understanding your role. He also talks about the importance of baseball cards in his coaching career. Coach preaches the importance of loyalty, trust and integrity for him and his program. There is a ton of information for young coaches to take from this episode.

This week, we are joined by Stanford Associate Head Coach, Adam Cohen. Coach Cohen talks about his time as a manager, working for Lute Olson, working under different head coaches, working with Rising Coaches and much more. This week, we are joined by Providence College Assistant Coach, Jeff Battle. Coach Battle comes to us with a number of different stops and situations that are unique in the business. He coached in high school, survived TWO coaching changes at Wake Forest, coached Chris Paul and made a number of transitions through success and loyalty. Coach gives us great stories about Ed Cooley, Skip Prosser and Chris Paul. He will also tell you why coaching high school basketball was the key to his college coaching success. This week, we are joined by Murray St. Assistant Coach, Casey Long. Coach Long comes to us with experience at the JUCO level, DI support staff and as a DI Assistant. Coach talks about the most important things he has taken from his journey throughout the business. He talks about going from playing to coaching at his alma mater, learning by fire, stepping out of his comfort zone, going from an assistant to support staff and much more. For our first guest of season two, we are joined by Coach Jeremy Growe from Furman University. Coach Growe comes to us with experience at the high major level as a manager, GA, Director of Operations and Special Assistant to the Head Coach before heading to Furman as an assistant. Coach Growe stresses about making smart career moves, not necessarily going to a better title. He talks about his time as a manager and about being in thankless positions. Lastly, he talks about the benefits of a staff breaking up at a young age because to spreads out your connections. WE ARE BACK FOR SEASON 2! This week, we take a dive into what young guys can be doing in the spring and early summer to help themselves build relationships in the business. He has worked under the likes of Jamie Dixon, Chris Mack, Rick Pitino, Bobby Hurley and Steve Masiello. He emphasizes things like loyalty being a 3-way street, handling your situations with class, relationships can't be transactional and much more.

This week, we were joined by Marist College Assistant Coach, Dalip Bhatia. Coach Bhatia joins us just after being named the #1 Assistant Coach in the MAAC Conference by Jeff Goodman. Coach Bhatia navigates us through his route as a non-player through his time in college in the northeast region of the United States. Bhatia emphasizes taking advantage of your lucky breaks, learning from everyone on your staff, serving your head coach and players and much more. Throughout the entire episode, Coach Bhatia gives great gems from young coaches to take with them.
