If we are not saved by observing the law, but by faith in Christ alone, why did God give the law? And how does that impact our fellowship with one another?

This Christmas we celebrate that Jesus, the Light, has come! He has come to REVEAL that He is God, to EXPOSE our need for God, and to GUIDE us back to God. Come and get your joy on and celebrate with us!

We don't start the Christian life by faith, and then move on to something else like rules or self-improvement. Our security, confidence and joy come from trusting in Christ alone.

When Jesus was crucified, he wasn't the only thing nailed to the cross. God also nailed our sins, our old selves, and the law. And when you're dead, the law can't do anything for you (to make you right with God) or to you (condemn you). So don't put it on others, and don't use it as a way to try and earn God' favour. There is only one thing that makes you right with God - faith in Jesus Christ. 

Do you ever struggle to feel like God loves you and accepts you? We are saved by God's grace alone. We don't need to add nothing to it. God's sovereign grace is powerful enough to save us and change us, no matter who we are.

On average men use 7,000 words a day and women use.......20,000 words a day (not a judgement...just facts!). That's a lot of words coming out!As humans, we have a problem though. Once the words come out of our mouths then they don't go back in! We've all said stuff we've regretted, stuff that was unhelpful or hurtful. So, how do we put our words and God's Word together? Join us as we take a look at how God helps us to speak skilfully. 

God made us relational beings, and our friendships shape us (and others) for better or worse. Proverbs shows us how to be wise in friendships, calls us to choose well, and to be faithful. We are ultimately pointed us to Jesus Christ, the True Friend.

Life can get pretty hectic with so many things competing for our attention each moment of every day. Some days we can get to the end of it and our To Do list hasn't even been touched. The book of Proverbs can give us some helpful insights on how to get our priorities right.
