We eat constantly—often without thinking. But Scripture invites us to approach food with awareness: to worship God as we eat and to pay attention to the state of our own souls. Listen to Shawn preach out of Psalm 104 & Proverbs 23.
Hunter breaks down Psalm 1 and challenges us to ask ourselves what is a "Flourishing Life"? This is a great opportunity for you to reflect on your digital health/use through the lens of Focus, Relationships, and Time.
So much of the church life has been spent policing sexual activity, that often we forget that physical intimacy is a gift from God, and a satisfying sexual life is God’s desire for husbands and wives. It is more than two bodies coming together, but two souls, hearts, minds, and bodies. This is both its power, and also the source of all its confusion and pain. Join us as Shawn preaches out of 1 Corinthians 7:1-7.
In a world of gender questions, confusion, and competition, we return to the profound truth at the foundation of all Christian understanding of our bodies: we were created, male and female, in the image of God. Listen as Andrew Faris preaches on Gensis 1:28
God, our creator, designed us to work. The work we do is broader than what we do for a paycheck and more valuable than what we earn. Yet we often misuse and misunderstand our work, creating problems in our lives. Unhealthy attitudes often build up over time and add to the burden we feel within our work. However, our work can be redeemed and aligned to the purposes God intended. Our work and labor can be a joy-filled platform for relationships and service, as we embody God's heart for the world. How? Come join us as we discuss how to redeem our work.
Why does the embodied church matter? Join us as we reflect on the presence of God with Dr. Jeannine Hanger in the second week of our new series on embodiment entitled "The Temple."
Christian teaching has tended to view the human soul as good, and the body as bad and an obstacle to Christian growth. In 1 Corinthians 6 a different vision for the body is presented- as a new temple, holy and sanctified, and the new dwelling place of God.
Nikki reminds how God exhibits kindness toward humanity from the very beginning. The Cross becomes His ultimate moment of kindness as He endured pain and suffering all to draw us to Himself.
She leaves us with three questions to ponder. Hope you can find space to allow the Holy Spirit to guide you into new revelations as you consider these questions.
* Where do you need to tell him "I'm sorry" in light of His kindness?
* Where do you need to embrace and enjoy His kindness on the Cross?
* Where in your own life do you see evidence of God's kindness?
Nothing is as effective as a "sneak attack." Scripture has a repeated message about the life we currently live: We are engaged in a spiritual battle so BE READY! This battle includes demonic purposes, power and presence. How do we "Resist the Devil" and "Stand Firm" as we follow Jesus together? How do we claim our authority in Christ and break strongholds and signature sins? In short, how do we reclaim the freedom that Jesus has given us? Come join us as we finish our "Strange things of God" series and seek to explore and answer these important questions.

Garrick challenges us to look at healing a little bit differently. If the gift of tongues and the gift of prophecy are often seen as "the strange gifts". Then the gift of healing is often experienced as the "frustrating gift." For we believe in healing. We are called to pray for healing. And yet, we don't control healing. So what is this gift and how do we experience it within the church?
What is your take on this gift? Do you have a story to share like Garrick did?
