Pastor Shawn leads us through Romans 8:28-30. Jesus told us that in this world, we will have trouble. His lasting promise to us, though, is that no matter the severity or intensity of our suffering, he has the ability to turn it to blessing.

Pastor Garrick voices our inner frustrations at times. We all know what it is like to have a problem drag on and on until we find ourselves weak and wordless. Weak with no energy left to try and no words left to fill our prayers. We are tired and prayed out. 

Yet, it is precisely in these moments that the Holy Spirit provides us with hope and help. How? Listen with us as we receive encouragement through the Holy Spirit who is actively praying for us.  

Shawn takes us through Romans 8:18-25 where the people in Rome were suffering, and Paul was looking to encourage them to endure by focusing not on the present pain, but the future glory of God. They key to experiencing that hope, though, was found only through the Holy Spirits inward work in them.

Dr. Jeannine Hanger unpacks Romans 8:14-17 and what it means to be a part of God's family as an adopted child. It is a great reminder and a good listen.

Garrick continues our series in Romans 8. Focusing today on verse 9

We continue our series in Romans 8 with verses 1-8. Paul says that the world is divided into two kinds of people: those who live for the flesh, and those who live for the Spirit. What does it mean, though, if I find I often look like both of these people?

The great movements of God, in our life and in the world, are not achieved through greater personal comfort, but through God strengthened discomfort.
