COD York Sermons

This week we kick off a set of series leading us through the book of Romans, in its entirety. Pastor Bob begins by giving us a high level overview of the book as we begin.

Hear a brief message from Pastor Bob for our church about finding our rest and hope, in the midst of a crazy world, in Jesus Christ.

This week, Pastor Bob lays out some of the vision for COD over the next 5 years. Take a listen and think about how you can partner with us to make it a reality!

This week is the final two Core Values for us as a Church as we look at Serving and Evangelism. There is a special focus for us in these two, because this is how we reach people far from Jesus.

This week we continue in our series focusing on our Core Values of a church. Community and Discipleship are both incredibly important to the life of a growing and thriving church, and this week, we dig a little deeper into those.

This week we begin our series diving into our Core Values here at Church of the Open Door. We're kicking everything off with Worship and Generosity!

This week we conclude our series Encountering Jesus with a look at Mary Magdalene! It's amazing how God can come into our lives and address the darkness and demons that may exist, and lead us into his marvelous light!

This week we see that encountering Jesus shows us how little we know, but then also answers the most important questions. We look at this idea through a study in John 3 and Jesus' interaction with Nicodemus.

This week we see that An encounter with Jesus is intimate, exposing and costly, but it truly changes us because Jesus looks beyond our faults and sees our need! We will see this idea as we look at the encounter with the Woman who anointed Jesus' feet.

This week we look at the reality that Jesus brings hope to every hopeless situation as we look at encounter with the widow who's son had died.
