Code One Careers

In this episode I'm chatting with 'yourparamedicmentor' Glenn Ryan!

Glenn is an advanced care paramedic who runs an instagram page that is all about assisting paramedics on their journey through their career. Whether it be university students, new graduates or qualified paramedics looking for someone to chat to.

In this episode we talk through his career giving out some (hopefully) valuable advice for students, graduates and those looking to mentor.

Hope you enjoy this one!

*Cheeky language warning on this episode if you are adverse to a few swear words*

Welcome back to another episode! This week I sit down with Simon and reflect on his first year out on the road as a paramedic after finishing university.

Simon has had a massive first couple of years on the road seeing a wide arrange of big jobs and having to quickly learn how to deal with both the clinical side and the mental side of the job early on.

In the very first episode of the Code One Careers Podcast we sit down with the person who influenced my career choice, my dad Scott. A police officer of 18 years working in both Victoria and Queensland, he's experienced it all. We sit down and unpack his career, giving you a glimpse in to the world of general duties policing.

I hope you enjoy the show and look forward to the next episode!
