The way ESA educates aims to enriching technologically our society, for students interested in STEM and beyond.

ESA Education is about raising good citizens, preparing people to take the best decisions and to understand that SPACE and Science are topics that relate to all of us, and not only the technology and coding enthusiast.

In this episode, Ibrahim Oussari, founder and CEO of Molengeek, shares his inspiring story. Born in Molenbeek to Moroccan immigrant parents and having left school at 13, Ibrahim became a successful entrepreneur. He launched several companies and became a local role model, advocating for accessible technology education. Molengeek, based in Brussels, has grown into a pan-European project with centers in multiple European and African cities, providing opportunities for young people to engage in technology and entrepreneurship.

In our first episode for 2024, we had the pleasure of engaging in a fascinating conversation with Koen Timmers. In this insightful discussion, we explored the pivotal role of coding in combating climate change and how it has spurred the creation of the Climate Action Project. Koen, web design professor and teacher for 20 years,created the initiative dedicated to addressing the climate emergency alongside a dedicated community of teachers. We discuss E-Twinning is the community for schools in Europe, founded by the European Commission, under the Erasmus+ programme. It's a fully digital platform that has been linking teachers and students since 2005 that promotes the sharing knowledge process.

Peter, a social entrepreneur, is very active in culture, youth participation and digital child rights in livable, smart cities. Volunteer of UNICEF and founder of the Digital Child Rights Foundation. We discussed how digitalchildrights.org started and how giving children opportunities and chances in the digital world is so important. His approach revolves around two main principles: give young people, opportunities in the digital world and, secondly, give children a voice.
