    The song was actually inspired by a song titled mercy from the artist lewis capaldi and shares quit alot of similarities expect that they are both different genres.
    Have mercy is a cry for help, pleasing with the heavenly Father to forgive every wrong doings, draw me closer when I am about to go astray and keep me locked up in HIS embrace. It is no secret that man can never complete eradicate sin but with the help from God and his mercies that endureth forever, it is possible to keep them at bay despite how difficult they are.

    Hello everyone it's ya boy @coderaikiri welcome back to another edition of Hive Open Mic for another banger. I am here to present my entry for the 260th week which happens to be a song cover by Charlie Puth ft Selena Gomez titled we don't talk another.

    My choice for this song happens to be no other than the reason that it tallies with the theme of the week - SUDDEN CHANGES. The song entails two love birds drifting apart into strangers, watching the very person you always call become someone you don't even talk to anymore. The change is so sudden that when you see him/her with their new partner it still hurts as you still wonder how somebody who used to mean the world to you become someone you can't even talk to anymore.
    My favourite part of the song is when Selena Gomez said " Every now and then I think you might want me to come show up at your door but I'm just too afraid that I'll be wrong", that's rough meaning you still have deep feelings about the person but the fear of them not feeling the way stops you from making a move.
    The song is truly an interesting piece I hope y'all listen, like and enjoy.

    Mi elección de esta canción no es otra que el hecho de que encaja perfectamente con el tema de la semana: CAMBIOS REPENTINOS. La canción trata de dos enamorados que se distancian hasta convertirse en extraños, viendo cómo esa persona a la que solías llamar tuya se convierte en alguien con quien ni siquiera puedes hablar. El cambio es tan repentino que, cuando la ves con su nueva pareja, sigue doliendo, y te preguntas cómo alguien que significaba el mundo para ti puede convertirse en alguien a quien no puedes dirigirle la palabra.
    Mi parte favorita de la canción es cuando Selena Gomez dice: "Every now and then I think you might want me to come show up at your door but I'm just too afraid that I'll be wrong." ("De vez en cuando pienso que podrías querer que me aparezca en tu puerta, pero tengo demasiado miedo de estar equivocada"). Eso es duro, porque significa que aún tienes sentimientos profundos por esa persona, pero el miedo a que no sienta lo mismo te impide dar el paso.

    This song is arguably one of the best collaborations between Nigeria and Ghana in the early 2000s. A blend of two great nations and rivals to produce pure genius that still sounds ever fresh even till this very day. I remember listening to this song for the very first time on the radio and was glued like bees on honey. I literally begged my elder sister to get the song on her phone so I can listen to it as often as I can.

    Now there's just a lot I have to say about this song and the memories attached to it. I was on a phone call with my elder sister the other conversing about things we did when we were younger. One of the things we discussed was her inability to sing this song when she was younger despite loving it. When ever she could get her hands on the song she always fumbled the lyrics becoming tool for humor and funny enough she still can't sing it now 🤣🤣🤣
    Halo happens to be a love song if I am not exaggerating. Halos are rings found floating above the heads of angels to symbolize purity and I think that is the direction Beyonce went with the song going as far as calling her significant other Her Angel.

    Presentaré un cover de la canción Halo de Beyoncé. Ahora bien, hay mucho que tengo que decir sobre esta canción y los recuerdos que tengo asociados a ella.
    Hace poco estaba en una llamada telefónica con mi hermana mayor, conversando sobre cosas que hacíamos cuando éramos más jóvenes. Una de las cosas que recordamos fue su incapacidad para cantar esta canción cuando era niña, a pesar de que le encantaba. Siempre que podía escucharla, se equivocaba con la letra, convirtiéndose en motivo de risa, y lo más gracioso es que aún hoy no puede cantarla bien 🤣🤣🤣.
    Halo es una canción de amor, si no estoy exagerando. Los halos son anillos que flotan sobre las cabezas de los ángeles y simbolizan la pureza, y creo que esa fue la dirección que tomó Beyoncé con esta canción, llegando incluso a llamar a su ser querido su ángel.

It expresses just how much a person can get so used to another that they seek validation from them even when he/she is not around. It goes so far that they wish they can change themselves but can't only to end up hating themselves about how they so desperately want to be loved by their significant other. This is what happens when you get so attached to someone that you just can't seem to think about anything other than the thought of their presence when you are alone. Imagine painting the picture of heaven only to realize that it is someone else's room . Imagine knowing somebody is bad for you yet you want them even more.     Me he dado cuenta de que la mayoría de las canciones que realmente disfruto son descubrimientos inesperados, errores no planeados que terminan sorprendiéndome por su genialidad.
