The night before Walter Hutchins was killed, he surprised his mother with a late-night Uber ride to a family dinner that included his newborn son.

‘He was smiling and said, ‘I surprised you, didn’t I,’” Marilyn Lewis, the 31-year-old’s mother, said at a press conference on Tuesday. “That was the last time I saw my son. I hugged him and kissed him and said goodbye to him at the restaurant.”

Less than 24 hours later, the new father was inside his car outside a barbershop on Liberty Road when at least two men who later told police they were bounty hunters approached him. Details of the Feb. 23 incident are still under investigation, but according to Houston police, the men were hired by a local bail bond company to execute a warrant, and fatally shot Hutchins, a Black man.

Kanye West's attacks on Pete Davidson continue.

On Wednesday, the Donda 2 musician, 44, released an alarming video for his song "Eazy", featuring fellow rapper The Game. In the footage shared on West's Instagram page, a claymation version of Pete Davidson, 28, is kidnapped, tied up, and buried alive.

After growing roses around the comedian, 28, West is then seen standing on top of a garden as the lyrics, "God saved me from that crash, just so I could beat Pete Davidson's ass" are heard.

Toward the end of the video, a truck full of roses, similar to the one he appeared to deliver to estranged wife Kim Kardashian on Valentine's Day, pans across the view.

West then references "Skete," a nickname he's called Davidson several times in now-deleted social media posts, as the words, "EVERYONE LIVED HAPPILY EVER AFTER / EXCEPT SKETE YOU KNOW WHO / JK HE'S FINE," appear on the screen.

Two law enforcement officers in northeast Louisiana were arrested on Monday.

The men arrested are deputies in Concordia Parish on charges of simple battery.

David Washington, 45, and Ryan Coleman, 24, were booked at the Concordia Parish Jail.

They have since posted bail.

No other information surrounding their arrests has been released at this time.
