An airline passenger who was videotaped Monday growling like a dog and screaming at a flight attendant has been identified by authorities as Timothy Armstrong, 61, of Las Vegas.

The incident took place on American Airlines flight 1802 from Los Angeles to Salt Lake City, per The Denver Channel.

“The flight landed safely at (Salt Lake City) where local law enforcement removed the disruptive passenger from the aircraft. We thank our crew for their professionalism and our customers for their understanding,” American Airlines said in a statement, per KSL.com.

Salt Lake police detained the man on Monday.

In video clips, the man can be seen growling like a dog from his seat as he wears a face mask. He then confronts flight attendants and staff during the flight. He shouts expletives at the flight attendants, using cuss words in his rant.

When asked to sit down, the man screams, “Joe Biden!”

WASHINGTON, Sept 23 (Reuters) - The Biden administration has no plans to send any of the thousands of Haitian migrants caught crossing the U.S.-Mexico border to a special holding facility at the U.S. naval base in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, U.S. officials said on Thursday.

The officials threw cold water on the idea of using the longtime facility for some of the Haitians gathered at the Texas border. The statement is a response to media speculation stirred by a U.S. government advertisement of a new contract to run the migrant center.

U.S. authorities, on and off for decades, have temporarily housed and processed migrants apprehended at sea trying to get to the United States at the Migrant Operations Center at Guantanamo.

The facility is located on the same military base where the United States operates a prison for foreign terrorism suspects captured after the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks on New York and Washington. The Guantanamo jail came to symbolize the excesses of the U.S. “war on terror” because of harsh interrogation methods in earlier years that critics say amounted to torture.

The coroner of LaSalle County, Illinois, on Thursday, identified a body found earlier this month as missing graduate student Jelani Day.

The LaSalle County Coroner confirmed Day's identity through forensic dental identification and DNA testing and comparison, the office said in a news release shared by the Bloomington Police Department. The cause of death remains unknown, the release said, pending further investigation.

Day, a 25-year-old graduate student at Illinois State University whose mother said he aspired to become a speech pathologist, was reported missing on Aug. 25 in Bloomington, Illinois.

"Our hearts are broken," Day's family said in a statement. "We ask that you continue to pray for our family during what will be very hard days ahead. Throughout these 30 days, our very first concern was finding Jelani, and now we need to find out #WhatHappenedToJelaniDay. At this moment there are more questions than answers surrounding Jelani’s disappearance and death, and that is where we will focus our energy. As of this moment, we do not know what happened to Jelani and we will not stop until we do."
