Tuve la fortuna de conocer a Henry Berrios en Nueva York. El nacio en Gurabo Puerto Rico y este año Marzo 2020 se gano el titulo de World Latte Art Champion un gran logro en su carrera de barista. Henry es el primer Puerto Riqueño nacido en la isla que gana este gran reconocimiento. Pero en la vida siempre hay obstáculos y en su país natal hay ciertas limitaciones por las cuales el decidió moverse a Estados Unidos dejando a su esposa eh hijo atrás, un gran sacrificio para buscar un mejor futuro para el y su familia.

Yil Gonzales is a wonderful human, who aspires to one day start roasting coffee at a wholesale level. Her Grandparents own a coffee farm back in Puerto Rico and soon when the laws allow to transport coffee out side those borders we will see her growth. During that time she is taking her time to learn everything there is to know about the coffee industry, by working as a barista and attending every event there is for coffee like SCA events and most recently Coffee Fest New York.

We did not start talking until a decade after, when she became friends with my wife. Even though it took that long to actually get to know each other it feels like we have been part of each others lives for ever. I love her sense of humor and the fact that she is one of the most influential person in my wife's life. From the moment we were officially introduced I felt I can trust her and joke around and once in a while i'll have a drink with her.

A professional  consumer of coffee. Originally when I first met him I thought he was 100% in the coffee industry but turns out there's more that meets the eye. He has now been a great part of the coffee community, as he opened up a space where consumers and coffee professionals can freely  teach, share, and brew different coffee methods.
