Welcome to the first episode of the Coffee and Commerce podcast. My name is Sara Jones, and this podcast is my vision. I've been thinking about doing it for a while, and have only recently got my act together to get it organised.
 
 What I want to be doing with this podcast is to be talking to e-commerce business owners.  Not the multi multi-million pound e-commerce business owners, but what I would like to call the normal e-commerce business owners, people like you and me who have had a vision to start their own business. They've set it up, they're running it, and to listen to and to hear their story, their struggles, their day-to-day battles that they might have.
 
 But also I want to hear about their successes, and what kind of things work well for them to help them with their business, to help them grow their business. It's about talking to real people with real e-commerce businesses who possibly also will have, and very probably actually will have, advice to share and words of wisdom to share with other people who are trying to do the same or who want to do the same, but aren't sure where to start.  
 
 So that's what I want to achieve with this podcast. It's not about revenue figures. It's not about the size of your email list or anything like that. I want it to be about real-life stories from real people, as I said, so that we can all share in their experiences and learn from them. So that's the goal of the podcast. I'm really excited.
 
 I have some wonderful guests lined up already, and I'm very much looking forward to sharing those episodes with you.  And I would love it if you would please subscribe to the podcast. Obviously I'm trying to get it off the ground now.  
 
 So if you can subscribe and if you know anybody who might be interested in listening to these kinds of stories, please share it with them, and if you could leave an honest review as well. I know we haven't really got many episodes yet, but if you can listen to some episodes and leave me an honest review, that would be amazing just to help me get the word out about this podcast.
