We had the best time chatting with one of Alicia’s colleagues and good friend, Keith Reilly. Keith has been teaching US history at George Fischer Middle School for 30 years and is an amazing source when it comes to learning about local history. When the world shut down in 2020, Keith began going on hikes that brought him following in the footsteps of the people who came before us, including Revolutionary War soldiers to help him to continue to connect with his students when they weren’t able to be in his classroom. Six years later, Keith is still at it with his Historical Selfie YouTube channel- subscribe and plan a great hike for you and your family this summer!!
