"Someone's" by Sam Baldassari is a fictionalized story of true events. After learning that their sons are missing in action, two mothers take matters into their own hands. This story is based loosely on the life of Jack Cummings, an American soldier. How far would you go for your children? The telegram worn from multiple readings, like the words would magically change to something else in time, to anything but your son "reported Missing in Action since 31st December 1944". Many share this same story. Telegrams from the Veteran's History Project and a few Victory letters have been added to give a voice to their children. Narrated by Sam Baldassari. "The Lawn" by Helene Simkin Jara is a sci-fi audio adventure about neighbors, being, well uh, neighborly? Harold looked forward to his writing group every Wednesday night. The prompts that people took turns giving were usually enough to get him going on a fun ride. The prompt was sort of science fiction like which wasn’t his forte, but well, why not? He figured he’d write about a couple of extraterrestrial beings wandering around in his next door neighbor’s backyard. Boy, she’d shit her pants if that really happened.
