A look ahead at the first half of 2022! As we close out the strangeness of 2021, it was wonderful to hear astrologer Brittany Goss' analysis of what's to come in 2022. A great conversation with diviner and author Lilith Dorsey. Lilith is the author of numerous books, including "Orishas, Goddesses, and Voodoo Queens: The Divine Feminine in the African Religious Traditions" , "Voodoo and African Traditional Religion" , and "Water Magic: Elements of Witchcraft."  They have been a professional psychic and teacher for over three decades and are a frequent presenter at festivals and gatherings, including HexFest, WitchCon, Sirius Rising, Witch’sFest USA, and many others. 
I had been looking forward to this conversation for a while, and am so glad that Lilith could join me for a wide-ranging discussion of Santería, art, witchcraft, and ways and means of divination. Enjoy!

On this episode of Coffee & Divination, we welcome back author Peter Mark Adams. Peter is the author of “The Game of Saturn: Decoding the Sola-Busca Tarocchi” and "Dancing out the Mysteries of Dionysus."  This was a fantastic discussion of the Dionysian themed frescos of Pompeii’s Villa of the Mysteries, which are not only incredibly beautiful works of art, they constitute the single most important theurgical narrative to have survived in the Western esoteric tradition. It was a great conversation that delved into some beautiful territory, and I hope you enjoy it!

The return of this podcast's very first guest, Sam Block! This was another wonderful conversation, this time discussing grammatomancy (the art of divination using letters of an alphabet - in this case the ancient Greek alphabet and the oracle that uses those letters) as well as hermeticism, magic, and more. A wonderful conversation with author Peter Mark Adams - a specialist in the ethnography of ritual, sacred landscapes, esotericism and healing.  His works have been published by Inner Traditions and Scarlet Imprint; and include “The Game of Saturn: Decoding the Sola-Busca Tarocchi” and “Mystai: Dancing out the Mysteries of Dionysus”  The Game of Saturn is a work which leads the reader through a fascinating journey, exploring the 15th cent. Sola Busca tarocchi, which is a work of stunning beauty and complexity, as well as containing tantalizing clues regarding Renassance practices of ritual magic. It was a fascinating chat, and one that I hope will lead to other conversations in the future!
