Coffee & Heroes Podcast

And we finally reach the end of the Coffee & Heroes Roundup of what we liked and didn't like in 2018!

In Part 3 we tackle -

15. Best Artist

Hope you guys enjoy, and we'll look forward to seeing you in 2019!

Welcome back to part two of our round up of everything that was bad, good or great in 2018!

We've already traversed 8 categories (which you can find on our part one podcast); it's now time for Part Two -

9. Best Single Issue of 2018

As ever, I hope you guys enjoy listening to it as much as we enjoyed making it! Part Three will be coming in the next day or two to round off our complete guide to 2018!

Welcome to the first part of our end of year show! We recorded for almost 8 hours on this, across 20 categories, so thought it best to break it down into a few parts!

In Part 1 -

1. Biggest Surprise of 2018

Plenty of discussion, heated debate and just a lot of fun. Hope you guys enjoy our look back at 2018!

Now I'm off to edit Part 2......

Join James and I as we review DC's latest movie, Aquaman and then follow that up with a retrospective look at perhaps the greatest Superhero Origin movie of all time, Batman Begins.

Mild spoilers for Aquaman, plenty for Batman Begins!

Our quick breakdown for the newly released Avengers - Endgame trailer. Just a few discussion points, and bits and pieces that we noticed in the trailer.

Pop into the store anytime to tell us your thoughts, or sound off in the comments!

Hope you guys enjoy!

Join Alan (Mr. DC), Keith (Mr. Marvel)& Roddy (Mr. Indie, though he gangs up with Keith on this podcast to back him up in the Marvel v DC debate) as they go through the Previews Catalogue this month and pick out the best of what's coming out in February 2019.

As ever, tonnes of DC, Marvel and Indie recommendations, and ofciurse, get distracted by many titles and issues along the way!

Follow Coffee and Heroes on Facebook, Twitter (@CoffeeHeroes1) and Instagram (coffeeandheroes).

Once again I am joined by Ciaran and Keith as always to chat about some of our favourite comics from the last few months. We are also joined by local writer Roddy McCance, creator of Fracture Press and writer for the upcoming Tales of Fractured Worlds.

Be warned, there are spoilers aplenty, so be prepared. I have done a time breakdown for each title if you want to skip any -

Stan Lee Remembered - 2m45s

Hope you guys enjoy!

Time for our picks from the November Previews catalogue! These are titles that are due out in January 2019.

If any do appeal to you, feel free to get in touch and we can add them to your pull list, or get you a pull list set up if you need it!

Hope you guys enjoy!

A new addition to the Podcast Channel - A Comics Review Show!

Again I am joined by Keith, Ciaran and Stephen, and hope to make this a monthly show where we look back over our favourite comics released that month. It is also my hope to rotate the guests and get as many points of view into the podcast network as possible.

For the first show, it was going to be a quick 20 minute conversation which would have gone before our Previews show, but the conversation was too good to restrict it to that short a time frame! So you may hear us chat at the start about it being part of that format, I thought I'd just leave it in so as to keep it as raw and spontaneous as possible!

In this show we talk about -

Doomsday Clock #7

And then there's a special long discussion at the end regarding a certain Batman Damned #1......

In this podcast, spoilers are kept to a minimum but for future podcasts they will be spoiler filled as we can delve into an issue much more thoroughly by discussing specific plot points and story developments.

Hope you guys dig the new format, and if there are any questions you'd like to ask us, or any issues / subjects you'd like us to discuss, feel free to drop an email to [email protected] or drop us a message through the Facebook Page...

Once again I am joined by James as we give our thoughts on the recently released Venom Movie starring Tom Hardy.

We also have a look at some of the trailers that have dropped recently - Captain Marvel, Aquaman and more - and engage in plenty of pop culture related chat!
