It's easy to feel happy and light when things are going well, but how do you stay positive when things are difficult?  Is it possible to find joy in the midst of struggles? And what does that look like?

In this episode, Angela Terese brings in guest John Ross Klocke to talk about joy, what it is and how to find it. Angela and John unpack the idea of authentic joy versus inauthentic joy, and how authentic joy flows from the ability to see God as a loving God and seek a relationship with him. They dive into what it means when the "fullness of joy is found in God's presence," and share what that looks like in their lives.

Episode 2
God is a creator, and he created us to be creative by nature. Every single person has a unique aspect of creativity to offer the world. We can use creative avenues to express ourselves, to understand ourselves, to bring healing to ourselves and healing to others. And we can use creativity to relate to God, no matter how raw and honest the expression is, and God meets us wherever we are.  In this episode, Angela Terese brings in guest Elias Torkelson to talk about different aspects of creativity, and how it relates to their lives. At the end of the episode, they share a song the two of them wrote that illustrates how creativity is used to bring healing through the expression of a testimony of finding hope and true identity.

Angela is open and vulnerable about her search for a God who is real and who cares.  Her journey starts in childhood in a place of simple faith, then spirals into despair and darkness, until in a place of desperation she cries to God for rescue and finds the light of truth and freedom.  Listen in on Angela's testimony to be encouraged that you are not just a hot mess, but a redemption story in progress. If you want to be able to believe that there is a God who is real and who is good, and you want to meet and know that God, then God absolutely will reveal himself to you.
