doula, and author of the book "Help! I'm Black and I'm Pregnant: The Black
Woman's Guide to a Better Pregnancy and Birth Outcome", to discuss the
role of a doula during, and after pregnancy. We discuss the existing
disparities for Black women in maternal healthcare, which are often overlooked,
or even dismissed by many, even though the statistics do not lie. Beyond that
Kourtney shares some wisdom on things women can do to keep their bodies and
minds healthy while pregnant.
