Conflict is inevitable in the workplace, it’s how you handle it that matters. Conflict has always been my least favorite part about being a CEO. I knew I wasn’t the only one who gets uncomfortable dealing with hard conversations so I brought enneagram expert Jenn Whitmer to coffee to help us become more self aware, confident in conflict and ready to engage in a meaningful way.

Have you had an experience where a company’s values (ex. friendly, fast customer service) don’t match your experience (slow, unhelpful customer service agent)? Simply having a value (ex. great customer service) doesn’t mean that’s what happens every day at an organization. Great organizations succeed based on what they think, do and say. From the receptionist at the front desk to the CEO, how do you make sure your team is living out your company’s values? Ron Tite and I sat down to discuss how to build trust in a world that’s full of uncertainty and broken promises.

The author, podcast host, “principal thinker”, and father shared the importance of serving over selling, giving with intention, and running a family business. In our conversation we find out more about this fellow University of Florida alum’s approach to growth in work and life and why his clients rave about it.
