Robin was raised in Connecticut before moving to Denver where she received a BA in languages and education. She then met her husband and raised three children and returned to nursing  school which led to a thirty year career as a nurse in Virginia and California. She is  a  cancer surviver who spent a lot of time working with cancer patients, including her first husband, who she assisted as he passed away without medical intervention. She is now retired and happily reads all the books she never had a chance to read and writes all the poetic verses she'd always dreamt .

Alan is a writer and content strategist originally from Miamisburg, Ohio. His words have been featured in veterinary publications, gardening catalogs, online listicles, and on printer packaging, brochures, chalkboards, and restroom stalls. For a short time, he worked at Eugenio’s where he made the best meatball sandwich in Portland and got to sit at the feet of some of the town’s most storied musicians. You can find him on a bar patio in SE Portland with his wife Xiomara and Lucas the chihuahua.

Janet received her MA in Higher Educational Administration from Maharishi International University and has used that along with her unique skills to navigate through many exciting careers.  In 2010, her 25-year-old son Dan took his life after many years of suffering from emotional struggles. Amber VonLiberty is a celebrator of life, lover of all animals (much to the chagrin of her husband), musician, writer, and esteemed front porch philosopher. Amber supports this lifestyle through her work as a freelance Land and Title Legal Consultant for energy companies across the country. She now happily resides with her husband,  six pugs, two mini pigs, and one grumpy Scottish cat on their farm in West Virginia. When Amber was 17 she overcame a severe bout with cancer only years after losing her father to a sudden death. These early encounters helped her achieve a unique perspective on how death serves a deep purpose in our life and reminds us that we always have choice.

Amy Gordon-Fisher spent twenty years in the fashion industry, primarily in menswear wholesale, until a stressful medical procedure that showed her the all too common side-effects of anxiety in hospitals and treatment processes. She became certified in Ericksonian Hypnotherapy and opened a private practice treating patients for stress, anxiety, addiction, and phobias, including past-life regression therapy.   In 2001, Amy founded Medcalm, an innovative company dedicated to bringing sound healing and relaxation programs to people wherever needed.

Mary Sheridan Floyd is a self-described "dilletante’ and ‘sometimes practitioner’ of theological, metaphysical and Eastern philosophies," as well as a Stephen Minister to those in need of an ear without judgement. She also ran two programs through the Georgia Department of Corrections - one at a pre-release house for work-program eligible inmates. What she doesn't put on her resume is the fact that she's been the prescient witness to multiple deaths, as well as near-death situations, in which she instinctually knew what to do and helped save lives!

Rachel Feeck is a Gen-Z southwest native currently hiding out in Phoenix, AZ.
