Modesty and shamefacedness is such an issue in the church because it is such an issue in the world. The world objectifies and sexualizes young girls, children. Sadly, many in Christendom buy into it. Not only that, there is so much stigma surrounding speaking out against the killing of the pre-born that one is labeled a bigot and a hater of women if the right to life of a baby in the womb is defended. Have you ever thought about how the creation account describes being made in the image of God? I think too often we overlook the wonderful things that can be taught and learned form this first account in the Bible. We relegate it to children's Bible classes and do not give this epic piece of Scripture the proper place it deserves.
