Cogitations

From Sunday-school I got the idea for this podcast of Cogitations. The question was asked, did Naaman trust in God. This was not the exact question but it was the core of it. I answered the question from what we can know from the text and it brought about a great point about assurance from God. I hope you are edified and informed and your journey to eternity is headed in the right direction despite human shortcomings.

In a recent livestream we had a good lively conversation about judging. I figured that since my article touched on the topic I'd also talk about more in depth today on the podcast. I hope you are edified and informed.

The truth is an interesting thing. Recently I had...i'm not sure, more than a cold less than pneumonia? Anyway, I used my go to help in times of need like that, Fisherman's Friend extra strong lozenges. They are amazing. However, they are NASTY. They are hard to take, but they work. In this podcast today we'll talk about the truth and how it is hard to take, but it works if you love it and take heed unto it.

This one has taken me years of trying and failing to articulate properly. Then, one day as I ws thinking on the issue an illustration hit me. I hope I have piqued your interest enough to tune in and listen to this discussion about the power of Scripture from and understanding of just one word.

In the latest episode of the Christianity Now podcast, hosts Tony Brewer and Aaron Dodson, along with special guest Todd Clippard, discuss the ideal size of a church congregation, exploring scriptural references and historical church practices. They examine the dynamics and practical aspects of both small and large congregations, delving into how congregation size affects fellowship, pastoral care, and community engagement, and offer a balanced perspective grounded in Biblical evidence, catering to church leaders, congregation members, and those interested in church dynamics.

This episode is a part 2 followup of Friday's episode about how common sense was dead and social media killed it. Today we are going to look at what fills the vacuum left by the death of common sense. I hope you enjoy and are enlightened and edified.

This episode is born out of concern for behavior I witness on social media. It is evident that folk have been robbed of the ability to think critically and reason logically. It seems that echo chambers, pet ideologies, and participation trophies have robbed from the masses of even the similitude of common sense. Its like we can't even fake it anymore. I do have hope. All is not lost. But the problem is still pervasive. I hope you will tune in and take a listen as we discuss this issue.

So controversial is this topic that it blows my mind. In this episode I attempt to make the case that man can understand the Bible. I mean, don't you think the God could write a book it does not take a miracle to understand? Tune in and take note, especially if you believe in the whole "Illumination of Scripture" doctrine.

This one is hopefully very encouraging while being grouinded in the reality of our present age. If you find yourself somewhat hopeless and feel like all you are doing is slogging along this episode of Cogitations is for you.

Welcome Eric Lyons from Apologetics Press on the show to talk about alleged Bible contradictions. This is a topic that is near and dear to our hearts. Higher textual critics levy all kinds of accusations at God's Word. Do any of them measure up? Tune in and let us know what you think. Also, if you think the Bible contradicts itself tune in and drop your most damning evidence in the comments section and we'll see if we can not debunk it.
