It is the holiday of Thanksgiving in the United States of America. On this day I figured we'd take a look at gratitude and the importance of an attitude of gratitude. I pray you find something for which to be grateful during this and all seasons.

So many in the Lords's church are entitled. The have a misconception of who Jesus was whilst He was on earth. They pearl clutch and virtue signal and leverage their contribution and attendance against remaking the local congregation in their own image which is actually a skewed and perverted image of what they think Jesus was whilst He was on earth. Then a weak eldership will allow them to perpetuate that behavior in order to keep the peace all in the name of "not running anyone off." Tune in as we discuss this pernicious problem and hopefully find some solutions to the problem.

One of the blessings that flows from God is His providence. This is a difficult for folk to wrap their mind around it seems. Either folk think that God is no longer working at all in the world or that He is directly involving Himself in the affairs of men through the performance of miracles. Neither of these extremes is correct. The truth is so much more interesting and should fill Christians with immeasurable hope. We hope you tune in and learn about this wonder topic.

This episode will take a look at some comments from social media and we will also look at a post I recently put out that really resonated with folk. If one or two people send you a private message saying they have gone through the situation you described in your post then you best believe that it is a pervasive problem that needs to be addressed. I have some thoughts on the subject.

This episode is the natural progression of a string of podcasts that have turned into a series. The aim is to offer encouragement by showing from Scripture the standard set forth by God and then empowering Christians to live up to that standard. You can do it. God would not ask anything of you that is not possible or that you were not able to do.

his is a follow-up from the episode about God's Second Law of Pardon. I believe there has been misunderstanding of 1 John 3 that may perpetuate pessimism about one's salvation. From this podcast I hope you take away encouragement and edification. As I always say, God has expended great resources in order to save you from sin unto Himself. He will not lightly lose you.

This episode is really about assurance of salvation. The topic fits well with content we have been producing on substack and in podcast form. It seems that topics such as this that keep people encouraged and feeling empowered to walk the walk of faith really resonate with people. I hope I say someting in the podcast that helps you on your journey to eternity.

In this episode we'll discuss a couple of accusations that are very similar, works salvation and check list Christianity. Does the church of Christ teach such? I think someitmes we just might come across as if we do. How can we make sure we do not? Hopefully we say something today to help you in our journey of faith.
