So, I have been thinking...I know, usually nothing good follows that line. That being said, I have been thinking about effective evangelism. Now I know that the idea of evangelism is pretty simple. We need to disseminate the knowledge of God and the Lord Jesus so that people can make an informed decision. I get it. In today's time is starting at a purely spiritual perspective and working backward effective, or at least as effective as it was? Please take a listen and let me know what you think as I flesh this thought out and kind of work through it in my Cogitations podcast.

I recently shared a video on the Christianity Now Facebook page where a person is simply showing some verses of the Bible. The point of the short video is that when one verse seemingly teaches one thing a simple reading of the context might show that a totally different thing is being taught. take a listen as I share some of my thoughts about this issue of taking verses out of context and using them as "sugar sticks" as opposed to inducing the preponderance of evidence from Scripture to teach what God intended to be taught.

There is a profound statement made in a song that is typically considered a children's song. "Jesus loves me this I know for the Bible tells me so." I have often thought that the best, most timeless, songs, even children's songs, are filled with such profundity. In today's episode we will discuss submitting to God and from the standpoint of following His Word.

This one hit me hard as I was watching an old television show on Amazon. I found myself getting reeled in and being v very sympathetic to women who were murdering their babies because they wanted to live a life unencumbered by children. These are my thoughts along those lines.

I recently saw a post that was sound and in which contained very good advice to young women. Sadly I also saw allot of pushback from women and men. I believe these things ought not to be. In this episode I read the post an share some of my thoughts on the matter.
