My path as a shamanic practitioner started at the age of 17 after a very powerful self-guided psychedelic experience pulled me out of suicidal depression and awoke an undying passion for personal transformation and for helping others. Seeking a deeper understanding of subtle energetics, I looked primarily to the Eastern traditions and studied Tibetan Buddhism, Taoism, and Zen while continuing the sacramental use of entheogens for self-healing and during guided sessions for close friends.
Fourteen years after my first awakening, after having lived through the near-death experience of my partner, I was called to deepen my practice and began a 13-year period of intense psychoenergetic studies that led to apprenticeships in the shamanic arts (curanderismo) of the coastal and Andean regions of Peru.
Prior to becoming a full-time coach and space holder, I spent 20 years of my life leading creative campaigns for Fortune 500 brands such as American Airlines, Toyota, and Coca-Cola. My work won national and international awards and was featured on CNN, Fox News, Fast Company, and Time. Today, I continue to use my passion for technology and innovation as a way to incorporate ancient wisdom traditions into contemporary and culturally-relevant healing events.
I have been a bodybuilder and martial artist for over 28 years and physical training is an important element of my daily practice as my approach incorporates aspects of mental, emotional, and subtle-energy disciplines. I previously served as a Search and Rescue Specialist in the Georgia State Defense Force, Medical Battalion, CBRNE (Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and high-yield Explosives) Unit — a volunteer branch of the military that provides safety and emergency response to the citizens of Georgia. My tactical training and protective nature led me to also work as an Executive Protection Officer in a private security detail where I was a part of an elite team led by ex-special forces operatives.
